Happy New Year!
Front Porch Charlotte started in December 2014 as a reminder to me, and a way to share how I learned some of life’s lessons. It was on my front porch in First Ward that I saw what to do and not to do, I heard what to say and not to say, and where I felt in my heart the dreams of my parents and my community.
Soon after starting this journey, I was diagnosed with cancer. The dream to share my thoughts, ideas, and feelings was put on the backburner. Because of our heavenly Father’s strength, the power of your prayers and the many thoughts of well-wishers, today my health is much better and I continue to get stronger each day.
Thank you for sticking with me.
I promise to share my Front Porch thoughts with you for as long as I can.
